This restaurant is tucked away in a side street and it’s rather cosy. It’s quieter than the places to eat on the main roads, and it’s really good value for money. Me and my girlfriend went and we spent less than £30 in total! The meals weren’t amazing quality but they were very far from poor. It’s simple food, I won’t deny it, no complexity or exotic flavours. But if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable, private and good value for a lunch or dinner then this is an excellent place for you. We both found our meals to be tasty and filling and it was by FAR the cheapest place we ate in the old town. I got the steak, she got the chicken and both were good well. If you’re looking for good value, go here I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. In my opinion this place deserves a much higher rating than it currently had.
Surprised to see such a low rating! The service was very good, could tell they were a bit rushed off their feet but they checked in with us and we never felt ignored. Had the vegetarian platter (which is also vegan!!) and the cevapcici (spelling?) we thought these were tasty meals and very good value! Also had a litre of wine for €20. Tucked away in a side street we enjoyed the people watching and thought this to be a pleasant dining experience with good value and service.
